Our Services


Compulsory Registration for EPF/ESI for a New Company is a mandatory requirement in India for companies employing 10 or more workers. It involves registering for the Employees Provident Fund (EPF) and Employees State Insurance (ESI) schemes, which provide social security benefits such as a pension, health insurance, and maternity benefits to employees.

Factories Act

Tamil Nadu Factory Registration is mandated by the Factories Act, 1948 to ensure that the factory complies with the stipulated rules and safety guidelines. Upon registering the factory, the Government of Tamil Nadu issues a factory license.

Our Services

Shop and Establishment Act

The Tamil Nadu Shop and Establishment Act, 1947, directs the conduct of business establishments and shops in Tamil Nadu. Every shop and establishment in Tamil Nadu must acquire a Shop and Establishment licence to operate. Accordingly, an eligible business entity must register under this Act to obtain this licence or certificate.

Contract Labour Act

The Contract Labour (Regulation and Abolition) Act, 1970 applies to Tamil Nadu. The act applies to all establishments with 20 or more contract laborers and to all contractors who employ 20 or more contract laborers. The act requires that every principal employer and contractor maintain registers and records that provide details of the contract labor employed. 

Catering Establishment Act

The Tamil Nadu Catering Establishments Act, 1958 regulates working conditions in catering establishments.The Act defines a catering establishment as a restaurant or residential hotel. It also includes restaurants and canteens that are attached to or run by a registered society.

Tamilnadu LWF Act

The Government shall constitute a fund called the Labour Welfare Fund, and not withstanding anything contained in any other law for the time being in force or in any contract or instrument, all unpaid accumulations shall be paid, at such intervals as may be prescribed, to the Board, and be credited to the Fund and the Board shall keep a separate account therefor until claims thereto have been decided in the manner provided.

Professional Tax

Anyone engaged in a trade or profession is liable to pay this tax. Tamil Nadu is one of the states in India which collects professional tax from the working individuals in the state. The tax is also applicable for professionals like chartered accountants, lawyers, doctors, etc.  The professional tax is calculated by self-assessment and is based on the half-yearly gross income of the employee or professional.

Trade License

A business premise is required to obtain a trade license from the concerned state government authorities or the municipal corporation for operating. Trade license is also known as Shop and Establishment registration. Trade license registration in Tamil nadu is particularly known as Gumasta License.
